Sixth Form Uniform – Neutral Coloured Business Dress

Sixth Form students are role models to all younger year groups in school. The younger children look up to them and hope to one day be in their shoes. With this in mind, we expect students in the Sixth Form to dress appropriately and be a positive role model for all.
Student must wear their purple student lanyard at all times. This is for safeguarding purposes; we must know who all people are in the building at all times. They will receive their lanyard on their first day in school.
‘Neutral colours’ includes black, white, grey, cream, brown, dark blue, etc. Neon colours are not permitted.
Acceptable items:
- Jumper or cardigan.
- Trousers.
- Skirt which is an appropriate length.
- Dress or pinafore.
- Shirt or blouse.
- Polo top.
- Smart shoes or boots.
- Tie of your choice.
Items not acceptable:
- Hoodies.
- Trainers, canvas shoes, converse trainers, flip flops or UGG boots.
- Hats or baseball caps; denim clothing; casual wear including sportswear, low cut tops, thin ‘spaghetti’ strap tops, leggings, jeans. Trousers that resemble jeans are not permitted.
- Tops which expose a student’s midriff are not acceptable.
- Neck and facial tattoos are not permitted.
Sports
If students take sports, either as subject or enrichment, they must arrive at school in normal uniform and then use the changing rooms to change into sportswear. Students may wear their own PE clothing. Sports leaders must wear their Sports Leader hoodie. This is an option for other students to purchase if they wish for when they complete sporting activities.
If students turn up to sixth form inappropriately dressed, they will be asked to go home and change.
