Our Library
St. Joseph’s has a large and well-stocked library which is open before school, at break times, lunchtimes and after school. The library is staffed by a trained and dedicated full-time librarian.
The library is a vibrant and welcoming space that plays an important role in supporting our students' academic and personal development, with a wide range of books and digital resources available to help encourage independent study.
Targeted literacy interventions and tailored resources make it a safe and productive space for our SEND students, whilst regularly held book fairs and author events make reading fun and accessible to all students.
Those going the extra mile can even volunteer as a student library monitor, helping to promote, recommend, and support classmates as they develop their own communication and leadership skills along the way. Whether it's to sink your teeth into your new book, a quiet place to get that piece of homework done, or just somewhere to sit back and unwind, the library is for everyone.
