At St. Joseph’s we are always keen to grow our parish links. For example, every Tuesday morning period 1 students from St. Joseph’s in KS3 and KS5 go over to St. James’ RC church to lead the weekly Parish Mass. Our students take leadership of the liturgy of the Word and also serve as Altar Servers supporting Fr. Simon during the Mass.
On a Thursday period 2 we take students from KS3,4 and 5 over to the weekly Parish coffee morning at St. James’ RC church. This is an opportunity for students to interact with our local parishioners and share stories and get to know them better
We also promote the Hebburn Confirmation course ran by the parishioners and Fr. Simon The most recent course started on 1st March 2026.
