On Friday 4th October all of Year 12 Hilda House celebrated the start of their spiritual journey here at St. Joseph’s. The theme was ‘listening to God’s call and we reflected upon what God is calling each of us to do with our lives and how we can be inspired by both St. Francis of Assisi (since it was his feast day) and our House patron Saint St. Hilda. Students undertook liturgical ministries with confidence and commitment including reading, taking up the offertory and musical Ministeries and our founding members of our Guild of St. Stephen Altar served brilliantly. We are grateful to Fr. Andrew Shaw for celebrating his first ever Mass at St. Joseph’s with us and we look forward to working with him ever more closely over the coming years. God bless.
