St. Joseph’s students achieve their Pope John Paul II award On Sunday 13th March, nine of our Year 13 students achieved their Pope John Paul II award from the diocese of Hexham and Newcastle at a special awards ceremony held at the Hilton Hotel in Gateshead. Students have worked outstandingly hard to make a positive difference all year in their local parishes and in their community. Students have supported local food banks, organised charity events in school and in the community, raised awareness of charities and social justice causes, got involved in parish ministry, leading Mass and supporting stewardship projects in our local churches. All the students have been excellent ambassadors for our school and thoroughly deserve their excellent success. Well done and God bless you all.
