On Monday 3rd February, St Joseph’s featured in the next round of the U15 Girls National tournament against St Aidans, located in Harrogate.
Our St Joseph’s girls took control early in the game, and by half time found themselves 3-0 up.
With 5 minutes to go and the score line at 4-0, St Aidans replied with 2 goals to bring the scoreline to 4-2. This proved to be purely consolation as a brilliant run from Sophia Manvell finished the game with a scoreline of 5-2.
A brilliant performance from a squad made up of mostly U14 girls.
