Sixth Form Philosophy and Ethics students interview Rev. Gavin about miracles, faith and theology.
On Tuesday 15th October 2024 we were blessed with a visit from the fantastic Rev. Gavin Rushton from Hope Family Church in Washington who came in to be interviewed by our Sixth Form Philosophy and Ethics students about his faith, his vocation and his real-life experience of a first-hand miracle. Rev. Gavin spoke with honesty, passion and deep faith and students posed challenging and theological questions to him ranging from the validity of Religious Experiences, through to arguments for the existence of God and what happens when we die.
Rev. Gavin’s support for our students and our school is amazing, he and his Church constantly offer us support, talks and opportunities for our students to understand the place of religion in the modern world and meet speakers with amazing stories and testimonies. Thank you Rev. Gavin for your wisdom, testimony and support of our students.
God bless.
