Year 12 Philosophy and Ethics students enjoy a guest lecture from Professor Robert Song on the ethics of self-driving cars and AI. On Tuesday 12th March 2024, we were visited by Professor Robert Song who is a Professor of Religion and Ethics at Durham University’s school of Theology and Religious Studies.
Professor Robert led our students in a ethical lecture on the ethics of Artificial Intelligence and the ethics of self-driving cars. Students explored Utilitarian approaches to resolving moral dilemmas with self-driving cars and reflected upon how they would solve these dilemmas. Professor Robert also talked about what studying TRS at undergraduate level would be like.
We are immensely grateful for the support of Professor Robert and the school of Theology and Religious Studies at Durham University.
God bless.
