Year 8 this term have been working tremendously hard to live out Jesus’ parable of the talents.
Every tutor group were given £5 to grow for a charity of their choice, in whatever way they wished. All the tutor groups have given a tremendous effort and from those £5s Year 8 as a collective have raised so far a superb £607.33. Today, students across the year group were given certificates to thank them for their selfless hardwork and for living out Catholic Social Teaching by supporting charities of their choice and putting Jesus’ love into action.
We also awarded 8A1 a special cake for being out Parable of the Talents winners, earning £200 for their chosen charity which was Bede’s helping hands! Thank you for your absolutely amazing efforts!
