At sunny St. Joseph’s we are passionate about living out Catholic Social Teaching by supporting those in our parish and sharing tokens of love with the elderly and those in care homes.
This Advent students in years 7 and year 13 have been working collaboratively to create care parcels containing tea, hot chocolate, sweets, biscuits, fluffy socks, bubble baths and little gifts and cards expressing our love and prayers for all those in our parish community. These will be distributed to parishioners in our local care homes later today. Students have really enjoyed making them and helping us to share our FLAME with those around us during Advent.
