Our Y8s progressed to the Semi Finals of the ESFA Nationals Schools Elite Cup after a long trip to Hull ⚽
The game went back and forth in the first half, both teams couldn’t get control of the game, but St Joseph’s created the best chances when Joe forced their keeper into 3 great saves.
Second half was St Joseph’s for the first 10 minutes where Ethan scored a penalty and Riley scored a fantastic free kick. St Mary’s pulled a goal back to make the final 10 minutes nerve racking, but Joe sealed the win with composed finish into the bottom corner to put us into the Semi Finals 🥶🧊
