Collective Worship: Year 7 Advent Mass celebrated by Fr. Simon
On Friday 13th December all of year 7 gathered together to celebrate their Advent Mass on the theme of Hope. Pope Francis has called us to become ‘pilgrims of hope’ during this jubilee year so students in year 7 had been preparing hard for this Mass by creating prayers, leading readings, undertaking liturgical ministries and practising the Advent hymns. Students had also worked as classes to create banners of hope which were displayed in the church. Our choir and musicians led the music brilliantly and our guild of St. Stephen Altar Servers served with pride and confidence. Thank you to Fr. Simon for celebrating today’s Mass. God bless
