Monday 25th November saw our Year 7, 8 & 9 boys start their basketball season with afternoon 1 of the South of Tyne competition held at Gateshead International Stadium. The competition is open to all secondary schools from across South Tyneside & Gateshead.
The Mill Lane squad have been drawn in pool A with teams from Heworth, Boldon, St Wilfrids, Cardinal Hume, Lord Lawson & Emmanuel College.
This past Monday saw the boys take marginal wins versus Heworth & St Wilfred’s and take a tough loss to a very talented Boldon team.
Squad: Luke Eldred, Hayden West, Benjamin Gee, Kieran Scarve, Ben Atkinson, Archie Nelson, Harry Price, Sam Watson & Luke Watson.
